This song is my journey—a reflection of an extraordinary moment that inspired a musical creation. "Angel in My Room" is now ready to take flight, and I invite you to join me on this musical odyssey. Listen to the song, and let its angelic melodies envelop your senses.

At 21 years old, I found myself in a hospital bed, the result of a basketball accident (had been playing with my friends from school „The Hodners“) that led to surgery under general anesthesia. It was during my time in the recovery ward that the seed of "Angel in My Room" was planted. In that blurred state between deep slumber and fleeting consciousness, something extraordinary happened.

As I lay there, I felt as though I had been transported to a heavenly realm. A beautiful nurse, dressed all in white, appeared before me. I was teetering on the edge of awareness, struggling to lift my heavy eyelids. She spoke to me, her words a distant echo in my drug-induced haze. This surreal encounter repeated for hours, blurring the line between unconsciousness and a mere 10% of wakefulness.

To me, that nurse seemed like a beautiful angel, and I somehow found comfort in the surreal experience, fueled by the drugs coursing through my veins. I carried that memory with me for years, not fully understanding why it had made such a profound impact.

Fast forward to 2022, when I found myself battling COVID-19, confined to my home. It was during this period of vulnerability and reflection that the idea to transform this remarkable memory into a song was born. I penned "Angel in My Room" during those challenging times.

Recording the song was a different kind of journey. I was still recovering, and I lacked the strength to venture into a studio. So, I recorded the demo vocals using my iPhone, capturing the essence of the song's inception. When I had fully regained my health, I began to compose the harmonies and arrange the song, blending elements of pop, funk, and soul, with a hint of '80s nostalgia.

But the most significant turning point in this journey was when I had the privilege of collaborating with the remarkable R&B singer, UGENE NHGT. His powerful and elegant vocals breathed new life into "Angel in My Room," and I couldn't be happier with the result.

The song itself carries a range of emotions, from chill and romantic to a sense of nostalgia reminiscent of the '80s. The instrumentation, featuring piano, '80s synth sounds, guitar, drums, and bass, creates a lush musical landscape that mirrors the depth of my experience.

The lyrics of "Angel in My Room" narrate the story of that angelic encounter in the hospital room, adding a layer of mystique to the song's already captivating composition.
