"Show My Love" is a testament to my passion for music and my journey as an artist. Drawing inspiration from legends like Burt BAcharach, Steely Dan, The Carpenters and the timeless ballads of the seventies, I aimed to create a song that captures both nostalgia and a timeless message. Collaborating with the talented Tyla Raé added a unique layer of emotion and depth to the track.
The creative process was a beautiful flow of inspiration, with the chorus lyrics naturally emerging as I sat down at my baby grand piano. The addition of woodwind elements by the gifted saxophonist Reiner Witzel enriched the track, culminating in a complex yet beautifully simple arrangement.
This song is a reflection of my musical evolution, from childhood piano lessons to a deep love for '80s pop and rock bands. Balancing music with a day job and family life presents its challenges, but the connection with a global audience independently is a constant source of motivation.
"Show My Love" explores the delicate dance of love's ebb and flow, infusing hope into every note. It's a musical journey that fuses classic sounds with modern production finesse, and I'm thrilled to share it with the world. Thank you for joining me on this mesmerizing sonic escapade.
